Poppy knocked on our door a little before 9 this morning asking if we were going to sleep or get up and make the Fiesta House. Was it morning already? Hailey woke up for around an hour at 3 am for no apparent reason but wanting a new diaper, milk and water. whatever. I'll miss these moments one day. But for Miss Hailey to sleep until 9, poor thing was worn out. After the Fiesta House, we headed over to Amanda's for the garage sale and to help them in anyways possible.
Amanda, Susan and mom have been working on a garage sale for Sue who is suffering from breast cancer. Sue had surgery this week, has to spend 6 weeks at MD Anderson for more treatment and doesn't have insurance. She has already been traveling between Texarkana and Houston for chemo the past year or so. The bills will add up so people are wanting to help in any way possible. We had people stop by just to give a donation!! AMAZING community!! After the garage sale, there was around $1000+ raised. That is amazing!!! If you haven't been around anyone going through Chemo or other treatments for cancers, it is brutal and very expensive.
After the sale, we went to Goodwill and stopped y by Cristi's for a bit. I took her a lot of stuff for the boys and she made a donation for Sue. Thank you Cristi! Hailey Grace loves running around with her boys and they are super gentle with her. It's very cute, they need a little sister for sure. :) Next stop was Mia's for a bath and then Target. Daytime diapers and wipes were out, imagine that. I'm too tired to remember what else we got....Oh, some on the go food for Hailey. We pulled up at home and Poppy was washing his jeep and Hailey went nuts. In a matter of minutes, she was drenched and stripped of her clothing. After the jeep, the pilot and the 4 runner got a bath too. I think it is supposed to be clear through Saturday so maybe I can keep it clean. doubt it.
We showered really quick and had turkey dogs, applesauce and chips for dinner. You know I'm tired when I have a turkey dog on a Saturday night. I typically do a heavy chicken and pasta dish or we get Carino's. I personally think we both would have gone to sleep without dinner. In a matter of minutes, she was asleep with food in hand.
I bought these today at the sale. The uggs are a 9 and the boots are an 8. I think they are cute enough!! Hailey is like a 7 now.
These were going to Goodwill so I grabbed them for Hailey.
