BIG FAT BURNING TEARS

My face is burning from all the tears that have rolled down my fair cheeks. My chest is in a knots from throbbing so bad. That is not even a start of what many of our friends and family are feeling at this moment. I'm sure by now most of you have seen the news, the pictures and have heard the devastation of Albert Pike. My heart aches for families that were lost, many children. People that we have known our entire lives lost their children, spouses and parents. Church groups were there, families on vacation and people enjoying retirement. My cousin's best friend lost her 1st grade daughter. Megan's neighbor lost her daughter and her mother. Megan was supposed to be meeting them there. Thank God someone protected Megan, her husband and her two children. Felicia still has family missing. If they are anything like Felicia, they have to be good as gold and funny as hell. Please pray for their safe return. One is a three year old still missing. The search for survivors and and the recovery process could like weeks. God is supposed to have a plan for everyone but it things that like that really make you question is plan. These were innocent people. Innocent children.

While all this was going on, Hailey and I went over to Andy and Amanda's house to help set up a garage sell. We all donated clothes, purses and household items to help raise money for a wonderful lady named Sue. She is fighting a serious stage of breast cancer and had surgery today at MD Anderson. She had already gone through treatment there so her expenses are already sky rocket. Now, along with surgery, she has to spend 6 weeks there. Please say a prayer for a good recovery. She was in good spirits this evening when she phone Susan. How could anyone not be in good sprits when talking to Susan though? She's too funny! We arrived home around 9 (WAAAAAYYYY past HG's bed time and she was laying on a blanket in the driveway she was so sleepy!), forced her in the shower and she climbed in bed all on her on. Little girl was EXHAUSTED! I'm catching up on emails, reading blogs and watching the rerun of CMT's. Sometimes a little Country music brghten your mood.

If you aren't keeping with with Megan and Cohen, his button is on my blog. He had to go back into surgery tonight. So along with the other prayers you are going to say right now (Cause I know you are!!), please include them in there.
