See, as you can tell it has been a REALLY rough few days in Texarkana. No one can grasp the heart ache and hurt. No one should have to.
On another subject, we met Mellissa and Brody at the office to go over the music she wanted for her wedding on Saturday. Hailey always does great playing that the office but with the two of them, it was a lot of work. They were constantly fighting which was a total shock to me because Hailey gets long with kids so easily. Next, we will be leaving the children with sitters so we can get it accomplished.
Next up was swimming with Brody and Tate out at Pam's house. A different Brody and Pam is Mia's best friend. Hailey loved playing with the boys and they are too cute. Tate looks just like his dad and Brody just like his momma. I could also see Erin, their Aunt in them too but it could be that they were sitting by her. The boys call their grandfather Big. Cute huh? I guess it is funny because he is a little guy, about my dad's size and the call him Big. Too cute! We've known this family forever, littlerly forever. The boys dad, Kyle, was best buds with Ryan in High School. Kyle rescued Collins on Sunday morning after being stuck on a sandbar after the mud run. These boys are all like big brothers to her, gotta love them!
Pappa Murphy's for dinner, tv and books time with Hailey waking up to tell me she needed to go outside. I laughed and asked why and she replied with "the cow jump over the moon momma". If you haven't read Good Night Moon, you really should. Such a sweet little book. I remember reading it to Collins and Ryan. After what seemed like FOREVER, she went to sleep. I'm actually not sure who went first, she or I.

Monday rolled around and Hailey must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. We were late for school which rarely happens and by 11, I was over there taking with Hailey. She was acting out and just wasn't Hailey. I know she was exhausted but maybe it is lingering around from all the bickering yesterday? Kids will be kids but I wasn't going to let her act up. Mandy said she is always so sweet and loving and she was today but something was off. I hung around for a bit but she just was down. So off we went. She was warm and was warn yesterday so I gave her a little Tylenol. 45 minutes of tears and she was asleep. I'm hoping for a rested and happy little one.
So that leaves me here, checking emails and reading on Megan's (Cohen's) updates. Her button is at the bottom of the page. They are in need of many prayers. This little guy has gone through so much in the first week of his life. I can't and don't want to imagine what Megan and her husband are going through. Parent's shouldn't have to worry about their infant son passing away. They should be celebrating that he is one week old and Megan should get to dress him 10 times a day in different outfits just to take pictures. I must say that they are troopers and some of the strongest people out there. Many would loose it before the baby was born and give up hope but together as a family are fighting it like crazy. Oh and all the prayer warriors. I know they are putting up one heck of a prayer wall around the little guy.
The rest of the week is full of stuff. Tomorrow I am running to Little Rock to grab Chris and rush back. We have stuff planned every day through Saturday to get ready for the wedding here this weekend. The yard, the house, the dogs, etc is just the beginning of the list. Right now, there is 75+ people coming, no one to transfer the cars, music isn't finished, no tents, no fans, no , no tarps so there is still a lot to do this week. We can't have people sitting in the sun for 3+ hours. I've started asking around to see if we can't come up with some stuff so they don't have to pay to rent it. Hopefully we can find stuff because with it being our home, we aren't willing to allow people to over heat or worse. They checked with the local funeral homes today for rentals but it was really expensive and they don't have extras due to all the funerals. I don't what is supposed to be the happiest day of their life to turn into a day full of ambulances taking people to the ER.
