Collins, Chris, Hailey Grace, Dad, Judy and I had a great dinner of Lee's Catfish on Saturday night on the patio. It was a little warm but not too bad thanks to the misters. On Sunday, headed to Fiesta House for a Mexican Father's Day lunch. It was yummy but the wait was long, another family said they were us to get seated first, and their air wasn't working correctly. ugh! Afterwards, we headed to Sulphur Springs to visit family we haven't seen in a while. Hailey Grace really enjoyed playing with her cousins, Matt and Kaden. They were too cute to make sure she was doing well. She even got to sit at the kid table with them while eating. Lynn and Jim made homemade vanilla ice cream and I think everyone really enjoyed that. I'll try and get a couple of pictures from them to post soon as I didn't take my camera.
Uncle John Davis sent Hailey Grace this lobster hat. too cute!
Hailey was really over tired on the way home and didn't sleep a wink. She couldn't get comfy and just whined. It happens often if she gets too sleepy, she can't get to sleep. Once we finally got her to sleep after arriving home, we packed Chris and tried to get a little shut eye. It was less than an hour and Hailey was climbing in bed with us crying. She didn't want anything, just to snuggle with me. Not much time after she fell asleep, she was up again. Poor thing was exhausted this morning but I got her to take a nap until 9 and then she headed to school. They nap so well up there and Mandy said she would let her rest longer if needed.
People have been in and out of the house today collecting items from the wedding and I have been putting off cleaning. Imagine that. Who REALLY likes to clean? I like to sweep, mop, clean the base boards, etc but I hate showers, putting up laundry and cleaning rooms. Or our room. Hailey has stuff everywhere. I clean it and 10 minutes later it has been hit by a tornado. She likes dressing up in my panties and bras so I am constantly finding them in odd places. Try the fridge for my boxers this morning. Really, were they hot Hailey Grace? I found her tooth brush in the pasta last week now that I am thinking about it.
Daddy & Lil' Miss Diva
I braved Walmart this morning and must say it was pretty empty. NICE! SUPER DUPER NICE! I came home with lots of fruit, vegetables, cookies, pink lemonade, Popsicles, vanilla ice cream and a plastic pool for Hailey. Hopefully it will last us until we head to Aunt Tonia's on the 1st. We can't wait!! Hailey and I were heading to Louisville on Saturday for five days but a dr appointment was moved until next Monday. I was looking forward to visiting with my Dr on Thursday and then seeing Ryan, Toni & the twins and then spotting by to see Leslie and baby Rylie Brooke. Laura and Rick are taking the boys over there on Tuesday so it would have been a perfect little visit. Bummer..... Maybe it was someone was just watching out for me telling me that I reallllllllly didn't want to drive to Louisville with a toddler this week. Oh well, Chris closes the next 9 out of 10 days so we'll probably go back in August with him (if he has to go back). We've narrowed out apartment search down and are eager to view them. My friend Rebecca has been a great help and knows most of the apartments in the DFW area. I am so thankful we are renting rather than staying in an extended stay for 6-8 months. Poor Chris has already been in those terrible places for 7 months and has 2 more to go!!!
Sleeping Beauty. Yes, she is naked in a diaper.

You are one busy girl! I think I'm busy, then I read what you have been up to! :)
I'm glad I'm not the only one....I can clean up but it's pointless until Boyd is in bed for the night. He is a tornado too! I love love love to clean, but hate laundry the most.
Hope you have a good week.
ps. I was so sad to hear about Cohen. It just broke my heart. I am still praying for his sweet family!
