After breakfast, Hailey and I made two lemon icebox pies and started the eggs for tomorrow. I will just have to scoop the stuffing into the eggs and garnish after picking up Chris. Hailey was licking the bowl clean from the pie mixture and begging for more. It was yummy! Next up, cleaning the house, a little yard work with Poppy and cupcakes for the kids.
Hailey refused to take off her boots while napping. Whatever. She is sleeping.
She also found a paci in her toy box. I told her that only babies suck on pacis and she replied with "mommy be a baby". I had to capture the moment. I think Boots now has a new chew toy.
She looks satisfied doesn't she?
Here are some of the eggs we worked on this morning. Hailey got to eat all the messed up ones on this plate. Or Boots did. :)
The deviled egg mixture. I don't like deviled eggs but these are so dang good y'all. It of course is a Paula Deen recipe.
Hailey is stirring so I am going to get her a snack ready. She ate so much as breakfast, then requested turkey sausage once back home and a fudge pop (thank goodness I made some last night) so she wasn't too hungry for lunch. I bet this little girl will wake up starving.
