Tornados always bring beautiful weather

Why is that? I mean seriously, if the weather is terrible the next day always seems nice. I can't see a cloud for miles and the sky looks like the ocean. The sun is bright and it is nice and warm. We spent a little time outside this morning once it dried out a little and we cleaned the house. It was close to 9:30 by the time the last storm moved out.

I'm not sure if it was the hail or the rotation in the clouds that worried Copper but he managed to get out of the fence and came knocking on my bedroom door around 3. Soaking wet and panting, I let him sleep on the floor until 5. By then, the storm had slowed and he went back out. Stinky dog! He slept on the porch through the rest of the rain until 8:30 when another rough one blew through.

Hailey slept through it all and woke this morning to Copper looking at her. She thought it was her lucky day that he was in the house. She helped me scrub the bathrooms, sweep, mop, do laundry and clean up the house. She loves to sweep and mop! Poppy brought her chicken minis as well when she woke up so it has been a special day for her. I'm not sure what we have planned for the rest of the day once she wakes but I'm hoping it will be after 4. It seems like a good park afternoon or we'll go play with Auntie Collins and Bella.

Here are a few pictures for you.

One Tuesday, she climbed in my lap after washing my car and went right to sleep. Poor thing was exhausted and her belly hurt.

She has started to like her sunglasses again. This is a pair that was given to her from Courtney and they are too cute. She also wears her Dora shades in the yard.
