The first 80 degrees of the year

We have finally reached 80 degrees out there in East Texas and I couldn't be happier. It's a sign that the temperature changing is coming to an end, the cold will slow up (except for allergies!) and that summer is on it's way. I've always enjoyed summer but can't wait this year. After 3 months of colds and viruses, I think anyone would be ready.

I sent Hailey to school yesterday morning while I went to the gym with every intention of picking her up at 11:45. I arrived and she was already napping! Never wake a sleeping baby so I went on to lunch without her. Stephanie had Ava and Mellissa had Brody so I know Hailey would have had a lot of fun. We went to Fuji Sushi place and really enjoyed it. The girls are super sweet and it was nice to hang out on the patio. After lunch, we all went to Target. They have the CUTEST dress shorts for $17.99 that I will purchase soon. They are too freakin' cute!! I have one pair of shorts here and they are denim board shorts. I've been living in my work out stuff with the warmer temps.

After I picked Hailey up at 3, we played outside until 7. We raked, mowed a little, got the weed eater out, played with the dogs, watered flowers, helped Poppy plant flowers, had pasta, picked flower and drew with chalk a little more. It was a lot of fun!! Hailey ran around in her panties so she could have a "pop-CYCLE". What a wonderful afternoon!!!! We came in and showered, covered our self in lotion and she told me she was ready for night night. Right to sleep she went.
She is watching Dora right now waiting on school. She is so excited to go. I have a conference call at 9:30 and then will try and make the gym at 10:30 for an hour or so. I will just let Hailey stay during nap time since she naps so well up there now. We're meeting my friend Megan and her two kids at the park after school. Another fun filled day for Hailey. She is just so happy outside.

She is SO cute!

I loved the weather yesterday too. It felt warm, but I know it's just because it's been so yucky and cold. I think we are all so ready for summer and spring.

I just bought a new dress today at WM for $18 and it's so cute. I will try to post a picture of it tomorrow. I bet the ones at Target are cute!

I'll be watching for the dress!! ALL my spring/summer clothes are in storage. I picked up two dresses at ON for $20 each and a couple of tops from Target. I'm living in my work out clothes!
