Couch to 5K

Have you ever heard of this running program before? I'm sure I'm mentioned it to some of you a time or two but wasn't sure if I've posted on here. This is a great running program for beginner runners or those like me who just aren't motivated. Well, I am NOT an advanced runner and you can talk me into skipping the gym for a greasy burger and fries any day. I have no will power. My dad has a family membership at Minton's and it took me living in Texarkana for 3 1/2 months (1st week of December)to step foot in there. My friend Megan drug me in there but I am forever thankful to her. Plus, she is the funniest person alive so it makes the work out fun. However, she is on my hit list this week. Two days and no work out buddy! :*( Kristen, that means you need to jump on a plane!
Ok, so back to the program. It is a 9 week program where it starts you out very slowly and builds up your endurance. Week one was easy, fun and you felt great. I'm on week two and it gets harder. Also, I do the training schedule for 35-40 minutes where as it is typically 25 minutes. Really, it isn't much of a difference but that is where I push myself.

The website is www.coolrunning.com since the insert link isn't working. Am I doing something wrong?

There is also a 10 K program for all you advanced runners. I won't say I won't ever do that one but it is highly unlikely.

Now off to Sushi at Fuji (is it good?) with Mellissa and her girls. We're going to shop for her a wedding dress and a STB outfit. So fun! I love watching ladies try on wedding dresses.
