Oh the Smells

We're running again but I am sure that is no surprise to you all reading this. Thursday was full of laundry, visiting with Whit and Bobbie and then dinner at La Fogata (something along those lines for Brooke's 28th Birthday). We had a great time! Mia kept the Hailey Bug.
Friday came early with showers and breakfast at Chick Fil A by 8:30, Dr Porter by 9 for Hailey's 18 month check up and for her to have a look at her ears. We LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Porter, seriously love her. She is as good as gold and I'm so lucky to have her as Hailey's new pedi. Hailey had a great check up and cried very little (HUGE FOR US). She got her second flu and another shot (bad parent for not remembering). The shots always tear her belly up for some reason. All afternoon was cleaning once again, packing and getting ready for Austin.
We left a little before 6 on Friday night and before we made it to Mt Vernon, Hailey threw up all over the backseat while sleeping. YUK right! Throw up is one of the terrible smells for sure. I pulled over, had a DPS officer stop as well and let me know there was a Love's Travel stop 3 miles away. Hailey got a bath in the sink (yes, I cleaned the sink but it was already pretty clean!), new diaper and some pj's on. Right back to sleep she went but cried out loud often as if she wasn't comfortable. Poor thing! Today she has been fine for most of it but gagged herself and Chris was almost throw on up. She has drainage from a runny nose (clear and from her ears and teething) and her hand hasn't left her mouth ALLLLLLLLLLL day. ALLLLLL day. That last molar is working hard to pop through along with those eye teeth. She does has red blotches (kind of like whelps from hives) on her face, arms, hands and inner thighs. We spent the afternoon at Chuck E Cheese so I'm sure she got into something while laying on the floor (Yes, she said night night and laid on the floor), climbing in the ball pits or some the other wild ones there. Don't worry Holly, you know I would have been blowing you up if I thought it was something bad. She is still on Amoxocillin for her ears so I didn't giver her benedryl but have some.

Like I mentioned above, we spent the afternoon at Chuck E Cheese for Hunter's 4th birthday party. Hailey loves the mouse and playing with the balls but that is about it. The place was entirely too crowded and I bet it was close (or over fire code). I think there was like 7 birthday parties going on while we were there (I heard all the ladies talking that worked there) and they pretty much kicked you out once your hour and a half was over. I think a lot of places do that now days. Patrick and Cresa are great and we just love being around them. After the party, they invited everyone out for burgers, dogs and ribs. YUM! I have to say that the ribs were some of the best I have ever had. Hailey is covered in a rash now and I'm praying she didn't pick up a funk at CEC.
