Hailey had her first Valentine's Day party with her friends Kensley and Maddox on the 13th. It was a great time and had a wonderful group of moms/babies here. The food was fantastic! Lynn brought a spinach and strawberry salad while Kristen, Holly and i made cup cakes, red velvet cake balls, cowboys caviar, heart sandwiches with chicken salad in some and strawberry cream cheese in others, heart shaped sugar cookies, cheerio chex mix, sweehearts...hum.. I know I am missing some! Oh strawberries and bananas for dipping in chocolate.. YUM! It was really a great time.
Saturday on Valentine's Day, Chris spent the entire day with us. What a nice treat! Hailey and I are used to finding stuff to do just the two of us so we enjoy a day where Chris plays. We started at Freebirds and then ran to Hulen Mall to exchange a shirt from my Birthday, next it was off to Burlington Coat factory and then Sam's. We stopped at World Market on the way home but detoured to Walmart for juice (Hailey) and then grabbed a fun Vday dinner. I think we all crashed super early!
Sunday was Mass, cleaned the kitchen, Hailey and I ran around a bit. I am looking for a jeep walker that moves. We have her stationary bouncer which she loves but it doesn't move around well. We leave it in the living room and she plays in it all the time. I would love to have one for her to move around and one that I can take with us to Texarkana and other places. She LOVES to play in Maddox's jeep and "drives" it all around the house
