Our life as we know it

Many of us take things for granted with out even realizing it. It's human, we all do it. I am trying to make myself more aware of all the blessings and wonderful things in my life, BIG or small. We joined Chris in Irving yesterday and wow, am I ever so thankful to be under the same roof again.

BIG TIME THANKFUL

We are sad however that our 8 months are up in Texarkana. EIGHT MONTHS. Craziness. The three of us are forever thankful for everything there. FOREVER THANKFUL. Hailey will miss hearing Poppy cough in the morning and running in there for a hug. She will miss swimming with Mia and their dates at Chick Fil A. She will miss having Auntie Collins around to blame for everything and being her best bud. She will miss Miss Mandy and going to see Ya Ya and KiKi after school. She will miss Popsicle at Miss Cristi's house. Thank goodness that the road is pretty straight between here and there because I know we'll put miles on the pilot going back and forth. Chris goes back to Louisville for a week or two so we'll travel home for a visit and then to New Braunfels. We are also going to take her and visit our families in Houston this fall. There are so many of them down there that it would be a fun trip to do.

This has been our last two days. I did not take any pictures of the hotel when we moved our stuff in as it was just too embarressing to show. Bags, toys, bathroom items, food, blankets and anything else you can think of was on the floor. It was a wreck. It drove me bonkers. Bad bonkers. After having breakfast downstairs, we cleaned for 3 1/2 hours. Yep, took us that long. Like I said, it was a wreck. A diaster zone.

Boxing up items in our room in Texarkana so that we won't be overwhelmed when we head back to pack.

Our Kitchen are at the hotel. No stove. Lot's of prepackaged food in my near future. Thank goodness Aspen Creek opens soon and we share a parking lot.
