Gifts for Hailey Grace

This year, we decided to give Hailey Grace practical gifts. She is receiving so many wonderful gifts from friends and family(thank you so much!!!) that we decided to get her something that she needs. Boring for a kid you might think but Hailey gets so excited for "aww pretty things".

First off, we have no fall/winter clothes for this growing little girl. I'm hoping she will be able to wear an outfit or two I have boxed away from last year but besides that, zip, zero, nada. I haven't found many fall outfits but I did come across the clothes below. They are capris for $2.40 in pink purple and denim. I think I bought her 3 pair of the denim capris as they were too cute and too cheap (Kohl's). The tops are just play tops ($2.40) but match the pink and purple capris. I'm seriously debating going back to Kohl's and buying clothes for next summer in Hailey Grace's size. The shoes, are an 8 and well she is in a 7. They had a 7 but thought I would be smart and get an 8 for later on. They were $5! Score! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this style of tennis shoes. They are easy to get on, no blistering and the rubber comes over the toe. Hailey's Preschool wrote it in there they they need to wear rubber sole shoes because they are safe and quiet.

Besides needing clothing, she needed BIG GIRL bathing stuff. Her old baby shower curtain will be on Craigslist once we get to it in the storage unit. While I'm sure she would LOVE the old one, she is growing and we wanted something that not only fit her but our guests as well. Something that she would be able to use over the next few years. Mia and I took Hailey Grace to Target and here is what we came out of. She kept saying "awww pretty, so pretty".

Hailey is also going to a big girl bed. She is a WILD sleeper so a toddler bed and twin beds only give her a couple hours of sleep each night. She sleeps like a Queen in a queen bed. Not sure if we are going to do a full or queen but either way, she will have a big girl bed and not mommy's bed. With that, we needed big girl bedding. We've been looking for a month. Do we do solid, do we do a kid theme, do we do adult bedding? Decisions decisions. Mia is helping us get the bedding for Hailey Grace as her birthday gift. This is what we decided on. Yes, it is WAYYYY pink and there is a turquoise one but Hailey likes the pink one. It's a bed in the bag from Target and very durable. We are going to throw some pillows on it that will make it not so grown up for Hailey and probably put is by the wall and put a plush rug by the bed. Hailey loves the plush rugs. On one side, it has the pink Damask print and he other is little pink dots that matches the bed skirt. The bed in a bag comes with sheets, pillow cases, bed skirt, quilt, and a fabric tote. All that for such a good little price! Click HERE to see it.

With all the practical stuff, I threw in a little fun. She adores her hello kitty rain boots (a larger pair would be a perfect gift and really cheap) so I bought her a Hello Kitty supply. There is a bag, stickers, coloring book, note pad, headbands, pencils, sunglasses, nail polish, two socks, a necklace and bracelet. She'll Love it. I hope!

Cute cute stuff!! I bet she is going to love everything.

I have got to get to Kohl's. I looked for some tops at wmart yesterday, but i see every kid in the world in them. Usually that doesn't bother me, but they just seem so common. Boyd is still in 18 month stuff. I bought a 24 month tee and it swallows him. I will go see what Kohl's has.

Have a great party!!!
