Green Snot

I've seen enough green snot to last me a lifetime. I seriously don't care if I EVER see anymore. Where in the world does it all come from? She was perfectly well on Thursday, clear runny nose when I picked her up on Friday and by the night it was dark green. ICK. YUK. I'm still hoping allergies. The Allegra should start kicking in tonight.

We had the frog on high last night, Hailey was coated in vicks and I put a breathe right strip on her. Mean right? Well, about 15-20 minutes later she was not snoring!!


It doesn't matter what time I put her to sleep, Hailey Grace is up with the sun. Always. BUT, I am thankful that she goes to bed early so I can have time to myself. I think you are much healthier of a person by getting up, having breakfast and starting your day earlier rather than being lazy and sleeping. With getting up early, we can also accomplish more. Take today as an example.
6:30 She demands milk
7:00 she falls back to sleep
7:45 she is jumping on the bed
8:00 chicken is going in the slow cooker
8:20 Poppy arrives back home with Mc Donald's. Eat and play time
9:15 At Alberston's for butter, oj and pudding (baking a cake)
10:00 Sonic for Apple juice slushes for HG being so good
11:00 Cake is made, bathroom is clean, laundry going and now cleaning house. Hailey is such a helper with all
11:45 lunch for Hailey as I sweep and clean out the fridge. She only ate the cheese and wanted an egg.
12:20 we drive around for a bit and Hailey goes down for a nap.
1:30, rest of the house is mopped, all laundry is done, I've showered and put icing on the cake
2:00 jump on the computer for a quick minute to blog.

Hailey is going swimming with Mia while I go meet Mellissa for a bit. I'm a little freaked by letting her swim without me there but I'm sure that is just the mommy craziness in me. Little does Mellissa know that it isn't just me she is meeting at Carino's but rather all her friends from work. She will be surprised and I love making people feel good and flowering them with gifts. We're giving her a surprise lingerie shower at Carino's. It's much too hot for the patio already this year. There will be a little work involved, we are choosing the music for her wedding on June 19.


If you have older kids, this is a MUST. Such an awesome idea.

Now off to pick up Hailey's toys and enjoy some of my awesome slow cooker chicken. Wow, it was so simple and tastes amazing. I will be doing this often.
