Big girl potty

Hailey went tee tee in the big girl potty at school today. Those of you who have toddlers know what excitement that will bring. Although we aren't starting to potty train yet, we are all for her getting used to the idea. Poor Chris's feelings were hurt that he didn't get to experience the excitement and the "tee tee dance" when I picked Hailey up at school. I told him when he arrives on the 15, he should take Hailey to find a toddler seat to fit on our potty.

After picking her up from School, I took her to McDonald's for an ice cream cone to celebrate her big girl moment. When ordering her ice cream, she said she wanted a chicaburger which is a cheese burger. I think it caught everyone off guard but there was lots of laughter. Miss Hailey got a cheese burger and a cone. She ate all of the meat and of course, the pickles. She loves pickles. pickles and mustard. She is my kid. AND she ate a second dinner of slow coooked chicken over pasta. yes, she is for sure my eating kid. :)

Looks like the store in Tulsa is projected to open in March 2011 so we'll probably head there sometime in January. March is still cool and lots of bad weather days so we're REALLY guessing April. Tulsa has it's fair share of bad weather so you have to factor that in. That puts us in DFW for 5 or so months.

We found out tonight that a good friend of ours, Case, is moving to Brazil in 6 weeks to teach at a private school down there. How exciting! Good luck Case, we will for sure miss you!!

I made a smart decision today not to order Hailey's $75 birthday cake but rather use that money on other items for her birthday. It was a tough decision because the cake was so amazing but Collins and I will try our hardest to make it cute. Here is what we were playing with today.
