Hailey Grace stayed home once again today to make sure her little bug has passed. I think I have a touch of it as my system is definitely out of line still. She has been acting like typical Hailey Grace minus a nasty yellow diaper this morning.
A few highlights of our day:
- Hailey slept in much later than normal but I was up due to feeling sick.
- She went on the big girl potty twice this morning!!!!!!!!
- We played with all three dogs from 11-11:30 and man was it HOTTTT.
- Lunch at the Fiesta House with Mia and Attie Collins (Hailey is calling Aunt CaCa that now).
- A 2 hour nap in the rain for Hailey and I read a book. So nice!
- After 24 hours on soy milk, I gave her a little whole milk this afternoon and she seems to be doing well.
- She is one heck of a little monkey.
- She has been refusing to wear clothes today. Even a diaper.
- Hailey went three times in her potty this afternoon but just peed on the floor, laughed and then played in it. Lovely.
I started writing this earlier then took a break for dinner, bath and bed time. It sort of went down hill from there.... :)
- Hailey still didn't eat much dinner. Turkey, green beans and steamed potatoes. I thought she was going to fall asleep in her chair.
- We took a big bubble bath in Poppy's tub with the jets on and bubbles everywhere. She could barely keep her eyes open at 10 minutes to 7.
- We got dressed, she threw a fit because I put the wrong diaper on her. I put a Elmo Pamper on her and she wanted a Huggie Mickey Mouse. We'll lets throw a temper tantrum over something that can be switched easily!
- She climbed right in bed and wanted milk and water. We typically only give her water at bed time but since she had been sick and didn't eat much, I gave in.
- One or two sips and the break down started. The room is entirely too bright, her belly was hurting because the killer gas was knocking me out, she wanted school, she wanted Chuck E Cheese, she wanted Collins, she wanted Jesse, she wanted outside, she wanted Tib an e, she wanted swimming...you get the picture.
- Two months until she has her own room and boy and I going to make that sucker dark. Dark and Hailey proof.
- Two + hours later, she finally calms down as Collins shows up. My head was spinning, my cheeks were red from her hitting them with her head. I sware our room smells like a big old fart.
- Our room is big, really big. She has one area and I the other but it is still hard when she is down and I have to be extra quiet.
- I'm feeling better, I didn't have dinner because I thought I was going to get sick. Now, I am starving. Maybe a toasted PBJ, it always works out well I just ate a few tums so hopefully things will be good in the morning.
- No plans this weekend. I believe Judy has to work so dad will be around a lot. It will be nice to have him around.
- I have to find another pair of shorts before next weekend. I hate shorts shopping. really hate it.
Hailey put her shorts on herself...backwards.
