"I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me with what I asked of him." 1 Samuel 1:27

Live in the Sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air.

Hailey went swimming in a pool for her first time this year. I just knew she was going to be frightened of the water so I bought floaties and a life jacket to help her feel secure. WRONG. DEAD WRONG. She jumped right on in (really shallow) and was ready to play. After Eli went down the slide a time or two, she was ready. Hailey doesn't like floaties. She didn't like them last year. It was a constant fight but she wasn't walking. This year, she is running. I'm super thankful I bought her a life jacket and strapped her in. She was like a little fish swimming all over the pool. She would jump in and go under. My sweet little thing was like a 5 year old in that pool.

Going to school this morning. It was cheese toast for breakfast so you know HG was excited.

I finally found a rockin' mom suit that wasn't so granny. It's cute right? I always have a hard time finding one that gives me good support and is long enough. I bought it blue from T J Maxx. I still haven't taken the one back to Target. I might need two right? Even if I do, I'm not sure I'll wear big flowers. We shall see. Chris will have the final say so (if it is cute and if I can have 2). I paid $19.99 for this $120 suit.

I really enjoyed today and Megan is such a sweetie and her kids are beautiful. We've been friends for over 15 years.

You can never be too safe around water. I know of three families who burried their small children from water accidents in May alone. THREE. THREE TOO MANY.

I rushed back to my computer at 2, made some phone calls and cleaned out my email box. I thought I had placed two people today but one blew the interview and the other was really good but maybe just not enough experience. SO there went the excitement Chris and I were really looking forward to. We needed the money to secure MDO for Fall. Oh well, it will all come together. Recruiting is like Real Estate, you don't get paid until you make the sale (or placement in my business).

Hailey has been asleep for 2 hours now and I have to wash our clothes and make four phone calls before she wakes.

Have a good evening everyone!
