We had Kelli and Mike's Stock the Bar party Saturday night and boy did we have fun! Most of the guest were officers from Texarkana so it was nice to meet everyone. The party started around 7:30 and went on well into the night. I will try and download pictures tonight.
Poor Hailey wasn't feeling well while staying at mom's house so they ended up back here around 11:30. I tried everything to console her and by 2:30 she was throwing up everywhere. Dad drove us to Stateline for Pedialyte at 3:30 and we finally got her to sleep by 4. The next morning, she was feeling better but still pretty quite. I did notice that one of her canine teeth poked through over night so we're hoping that was the cause of the fever and vomitting. Mom came to see her and Hailey refused to let her Mia leave without her. So off she went for a couple of hours. She wanted to swing all afternoon rather than running around. We had lunch for Collins's birthday and then headed back to set up for Tony and Mellissa's ST B party.
Everyone arrived at 5 and things were really nice. The weather weas perfect so we moved the party (except for the food) outside. The kids played in the yard while the adults sat on the patio and enjoyed themselves. Most were employees of Timothy's so we always enjoy their company. I am in agreement with all the other guests that Tony and Mellissa need to host a house warming party with all their new bar ware.
Hailey and I went to sleep by 10 and I actually had to wake her at 9 this morning. You know she was exhausted when she woke and her diaper was dry. That is unusual as I am usually changing the sheets if we go that long in one diaper. We rushed to school, I had interviews from 9:30 until 12:45 today and we were running behind. Poor thing still doesn't feel well and has a fever. I'm hoping it is nothing but my throat is hurting so maybe I'm catching something from her? We'll see shortly.
I was supposed to be going to San Antonio for training but I just can't leave a sick baby. I hope my boss understood, she has two children. I pray that Hailey is well by Wednesday as Chris and I are flying to Louisville to tour a new concept. We have a really good feeling about this!!
I'll post pictures later.
