Books Galore

I am SO THANKFUL for Kelley and her book addiction. I just finished reading 8 of her True Blood series and enjoyed them very much. It took a while because they were 300+ pages and well with a toddler, you don't read often. BUT, I finished them and must go buy the next one in line. As corny as it sounds, it was good fun reading them. Season 3 is coming out on June 12 (I think) on HBO.

Today, she surprised me with 12 books. TWELVE! Most are mystery but one series is romance, dirty romance. Maybe that will be good reading for the beach? For some reason I always enjoy reading trashy novels while on vacation. Maybe it gives your mind a juicy break?? The books look thick so maybe I'll just get through one.
We just have to get through 6 days including today until we are on a flight to Cancun Airport. Aww, I can smell the coconut and the ocean water. Chris arrives tonight after a LOOOOOONG meeting this afternoon in Plano. Tomorrow, I'll run Hailey to school while he sleeps in and possibly get a work out in (it's been 10 days! yikes!) and then we are thinking about a quick trip to Shreveport. It's worth a 45 minute drive for Academy right? Ours won't be built until fall but we're moving up in the world. He needs another swim suit and I've seen a few really cute ones from Target and Old Navy for $15. We're going to the beach and whose to say if that suit makes it home. With the sand, boats, beach and bars....dangerous with very expensive clothing. I imagine we'll venture out and about since we opted for a cheaper resort so we can do so if we wanted. If we stay at the super nice and big resorts, we hardly leave.

I have been checking the weather each day and it says like a 60% chance of rain in Cancun each day while we are there. Well, I haven't checked it today but will do it. I know there is always a 40-50% chance in tropical places but I sure wish it would go down to 10-30%. I am thankful that when Chris flies to Ft Lauderdale for the day on Tuesday (yes, the DAY BEFORE WE LEAVE!) there is a 0% chance of rain. It will make for an easy but warm trip in a suit.

She does has big feet but so do I. I think these are only a 6 in the picture but she is wearing a 7 tennis shoe today. It's a little big but her 6's are too small!
