Hailey is still under the weather and I feel 100% helpless. There is nothing I can do besides try and keep her comfortable and give her lots of kisses. She took 1/2 a Zofran around 1:15 and I must say they are the smallest pills ever. It melts really fast on her tounge and she didn't throw up all afternoon and evening. I was thrilled and thought we were on the upside of things until 8:45 and lost it all over my shirt and the bed while sleeping. Poor girl is so worn out that she went right back to sleep in that mess.
SHe isn't eating and her popsicles came back up tonight. I haven't given her any milk since 6:30 this morning and will hold off until the throwing up and runny diapers stop. Poor girl was standing at the door of the fridge begging for milk. Thank goodness for bubble gum pedialyte!
Along with the dirty diapers is a red, swollen and bleeding little bottom. It hurts to sit, the water burns it and she has been running around naked today. Being "free" is the best medicine for it but I also picked up some Huggies All Natural Organic Cotton diapers and some thick training panties. It doesn't have all the bad chemicals like disposible diapers do. We've got every kind of diaper cream working and have 40% zinc on her right now.
No pictures tonight, I'm exhausted and will be up in a few hours with her I'm sure. THe Zofran should give her relief until 4-5 and maybe by then the bug will be gone. I sure hope so!
