Snow days snow days!

We woke up to a thin blanket of crystal white snow on Thursday morning. I am sure everyone in Texarkana was just as surprised as I. Hailey spent most of the day walking around saying snow and outside but once outside, she just stood there. I'm worried we might have a girly girl on our hands. She is going through a phase where she gets upset is something is on her hands. For those of you who have already seen the pictures, she wore her beads in the snow.
The excitement in Hailey's eyes watching the snow through the window melted my heart. I loved it. I don't lie down in a bed of snow and swirl angel wings very often and I rarely go and build a snowman (why don't people built SNOW WOMEN?) but I love the snow. Even in the blizzards of Colorado, I love the snow. My dogs love snow too, Copper could play catch with snow balls for hours.

Chris left this morning heading back to Austin once again. Every time he drives out of the driveway, my heart breaks all over again. I just have to remind myself over and over that God has a plan and this is just a stepping stone. It's a stepping stone that most people don't make it through and I believe it is making our marriage stronger. Jobs are opening up and we're open to relocating to just about anywhere. We can always put in to come back down South. Large companies usually move you around a little in the beginning regardless where you go. Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Nevada and Florida are places where there are opportunities that we are looking into. We've ruled out Hawaii and California after talking to the company about the relocation process. It was very expensive! Plus, never visiting either was another downer even though the job was a great job.

Chris also left with my car keys once again. He is really good at doing this. It's funny because he doesn't want me to keep my spare here in Texarkana but he always takes my keys! Last time, my car was unlocked but this time no such luck. Collins is on her way out here so I can either go borrow mom's car seat or go buy one. We need another one but was going to wait until we move. One less bulky thing to move right? I'm hoping they go out tomorrow or Monday and I can have them middle of the week. Hailey and I are meeting Chris in Irving to see Mike and Amber on Wednesday so I'm really hoping for my keys. I've also already booked a hotel room, ordered a birthday cake and need to pick up C's gift so say a little prayer that they arrive on time.

Hailey is feeling better but still going through the diapers. It hasn't been a full two weeks yet so I'm okay with it. We just go through a lot of clothing and THANK GOODNESS for Oxyclean!

Golf lessons anyone?

Hope everyone has a nice and warm weekend. We're about to watch Oprah and sweep Mom's house. Mom ended up flying to Vegas after work with some friends so it will be nice for her to come home to a clean house.
