Quick Note:
Chris has been in town the past couple of days. We met him in Sulphur Springs for lunch on Thursday and spent the afternoon at Grandma Christine's house. It was a great time. Grand mommy drove over from Irving and Laura brought the boys by to play. Hailey hugged them like they were her best friends, it was too cute! We had a wonderful lunch of BBQ and visited the little outlet mall there. I must say they didn't have a thing. That place is either hit or miss and Thursday wasn't the day. Hailey scored a Dora Umbrella so she was a happy camper.

We had pizza and wine for dinner and since Hailey slept on the way home, she was up later than usual. We had to bribe her to go to sleep by telling her she could go to school on Friday if she went to bed. Isn't that terrible?!?! Needless to say, she went right to sleep. I took her around 8:30 on Friday so Chris and I would have the day together. Most of it was spent running around but we did get a good lunch with my dad at Ironwood. The fish tacos are great! After lunch, we picked Hailey up and messed around the house the rest of the afternoon. It was a NASTY and COLD day! Chris played with Hailey and I washed his laundry. Poppy came home around 8:30 on Friday so we snuck out to Zapata's for dinner. Chris jumps at a chance to go to Zapata's!

Saturday morning came early with not much sleep. Hailey was up at 4, 6 and then 7:30 for the day. Chris was on the road by 9 and we were at Alberston's by 9:30. I hosted Kelli's Bridal Shower with Melissa Killian at mom's house from 2-4. Melissa came down with the stomach bug on Friday but managed to stop by after waking up better on Saturday. Kelli and Mike got a lot of really nice things from friends and family and she had a great shower. I think she is ready for this wedding to hurry up and be here, the stresses have set in. Her parents are also hosting the wedding at their house so you can only imagine all the work involved. Mike's mom told me I needed to do a money tree. It's like the money jar or money dance but a tree. She said that some of the people are embarrassed to dance but will clip a little money to the tree. Have you seen these? Her next shower is the lingerie one on March 27 and then the Stock the Bar on April 10. Those will be a lot of fun also!

I got lucky and Mia came to town to help with Hailey during the shower and they have been stuck at the hip ever since. Hailey has been such a mess the past few days so I have been thankful to have her here. Dad and I dropped Hailey off at Mia's last night and they rested while we grabbed a pizza. It was nice after all the shower work and Hailey's little attitude. Their Carly Special Pizza is OUT OF THIS WORLD. YUM.
Sunday....Hailey and I got to watch the sun rise. Yes, the thing that comes up super early in the morning. I haven't seen it rise in a LONG
time. She went to bed at 8:30 but was wired alittle before 6.

She has been such a ham today and wild. I'm not sure what has gotten into this little girl but hyper, bouncing off the walls and out of control is a good way to put it. Maybe getting back on schedule tomorrow will help. This afternoon, we went to Fouke for Brody's 3rd birthday party. It was a lot of fun and I am glad they included us. We took him a Toy Story fleece blanket (Hailey loves her Dora one) and a really big (like 2 feet) coloring book in Toy Story too. Tony has already sent me a text saying that Brody is sleeping with his blanket. I just love little kid parties, they get so excited! Collins came home from Aunt Tonia's so we played with her while Mia went to a friend's house. Once of her friends passed away in her sleep so please say a little prayer for her daughter who is 18. It will be hard on her.
