Chris met Hailey and I in Irving for a quick visit at the Bell house. Mike and Amber were in from Scotland and we hadn't seen Jim or Lynn in about a month. We had a nice visit and it was relaly good to see everyone. I didn't pull out my camera like always so I'll have to get a few pictures from Lynn to share.
Hailey sleeping in her big girl bed at the hotel. If you ever need a nice but cheap hotel room when flying out of DFW, I would recommend the Best Western Irving Inn & Suites. I'm not a BW fan but this is individually owned and operated and was really nice. Plus with tax and everything is was only $80. We are going to start staying in hotels mostly when we travel and visit people. We are more comfortable and don't have to worry about sleeping arrangementss.
On Thursday afternoon, we ran to see Uncle Ryan and he taught Hailey how to play rubber band guns. Lovely! She ofcourse loved it and thought it was hilarious!!! SO... Uncle Ryan you must come in over Spring Break and play with this little munchkin. :) After Ryan's we ran by Toni's house to see her and the babies. Everyone was great and the twins are the cutest little things ever. So healthy, beautiful and small! Lyndsey, Lauren, Ryan, Ryan's sister and Karen were there so it was nice to catch up even if it was fast. I can't wait to go back and see everyone soon. Hailey was a little scared at first but warmed up nicely.
Thursday night, the Bells had a meeting and work so we had a few friends over for dinner. Lynn cooked lasanga and it was a hit with everyone. Thanks!! It was really nice visiting with everyone as it had been too long. We wished we saw everyone more often, travel it just hard right now.
We're back home. Hailey is sick ONCE AGAIN. I'm SO MAD I could scream. After a month of being sick, a hospital stay, two weeks of dirty diapers, etc, we are sick again. She has a low grade fever, green snotty nose and a terrible cough. I was just hoping it was allergies but I'm afraid it is a cold now.
