We did a load of laundry, mopped our bedroom, showered and went over to Mia's. They had been cleaning too so it smelled great when walking in (I LOVE the smell of a clean house!!). We played with Mia, Auntie Collins and Bella before heading back to dad's to turn the soup off. My dad met us there and we ran to look for a lamp and for an early dinner at TaMolly's. I bet he hasn't been there in years but it was pretty good. WE started with Bob's dip. Yum. We pigged out while waiting on Collins. Hailey only wanted the hot sauce. How can a kid eat so much hot sauce? When it remains on her face for a while, it burns it so I'm constantly cleaning her off. It pisses her off. She got antsy so we headed home. She got another bath since she was covered in hot sauce.
VERY EXCITING NEWS!!!! Hailey went tee tee in the potty!!! She plays on her seat and gets her bottom stuck in it or puts her babies in there but I don't push the issue. She is too young and just now learning what the purpose of it is. I think letting her play and becoming comfortable with it and gradually introducing it works better for her. If for some reason it scares her, she'll be anti-potty for a long time. Anyways, she REALLY went in the potty. I sat on the big potty and kept saying "tee tee in the potty" and she started repeating it. I didn't think she would really go. It might have been the entire glass of water and the milk she drank at dinner but who cares, she went! I was so excited and praised her that when she got out of the bath, she ran back to the potty. We sat there for a while but nothing. It was cold so I encouraged her to put on some clothes. Maybe I'll put her on the potty each time I go potty just to play around. Diapers are so easy that I am in no rush.
Here are a few pictures of the day
I forgot to get a good picture of Hailey today. She looked SOOO cute so these will have to do.
