1. 40 is the new 30 and 30 is the new 20.
2. I can now really stress about wrinkles and white hair. :)
3. I'm almost old enough to be president. I could probably handle the world better.
4. I will get to smile and laugh when I get the whole "no way, you don't look 30".
5. Everything I learned in my 20's, I can now apply in my 30's.
6. I have a good husband and an amazing daughter. I know a new form of love.
7. I get to celebrate for this birthday, it's BIG right? I mean B_I_G!
8. I get to check a new box!! You know, when filling out stuff, I'm in the 30+ range. I know, that is big. :)
9. It's a milestone birthday. We all like milestones. Mine have changed from 18 to 21 to 30 to walking, peeing in the potty and new words.
10. It looks better on banking applications and loans. (hence, you are old now. )
11. My teens are LONG GONE. LONG GONE.
12. I can dismiss things I did as "oh that was in my 20's". haha!
13. I travelled many places before reaching 30 and lived all over.
14. I've got more than 30 friends.
15. I can pretend to have wisdom more convincingly
16. At least I'm 30 and not 31 yet.
17. I can go out to dinner or to the movie alone and not feel ackward. It's actually nice for quiet time.
18. I have a LONG list of things I want to do before I hit 40 (get ready Hailey & Chris!)
19. I don't feel obligated to wear sexy underwear or wear make up.
20. I know who I am.
21. I can have that extra 10 lbs because I'm 30!
22. I'm still 25 years away from being considered a senior citizen. I saw the world, got a degree and now have a family and WILL have more children in my 30's. (People make me laugh talking about age restrictions on kids in your early 30's!)
23. Finally get to drop the charade of trying to fit all those candles on the same dang cake. I can put 3 candles!
24. Turning 30 sure the heck beats the alternative (death) so I'm Thankful I'm alive and healthy and want to live to 101. Yes, 101 but I'll have work done so my face doesn't hang past my butt.
25. My skin has never been clearer.
26. I know what kind of people to avoid...
27. 30's are the BEST YEARS of a woman's life.
28. I feel better than ever, my new found self confidence. I have a much clearer concept of who I am. I am finally starting to live my life without worrying so much about what other people think. I am learning how to say "no" to others and put myself and family first.
29. I still get carded, and I love it.

Most people would know all this stuff is a joke. IT is something to laugh about. THere are so many books written on why 30, 40 or 50 isn't so bad. Most of this stuff is in there. It isn't to put down the older ones or the younger ones.
