The fierce storms have officially arrived in Texarkana. During the night, one or two passed through but now it seems pretty constant. Loud thunder, big rain drops, lighting, hail and wind. I love to be curled up in bed with Hailey napping watching it rain outside. I'm sure my poor dogs are having a heart attack but luckily, I can't hear them. They are out by the barn and the storage house hiding in their dog houses. We'll go check on them and see if Copper's hair is permanently standing up.
Things are going well right now. I'm ready for the Holidays to be over so I will quit eating the sweets and so people will quit thinking it's all about them. Still shocks me that some think of no one but themselves during the Holiday Season. Wrong in so many ways. Christmas is the Christian celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God, and the savior of all people. I think a lot of people forget that and turn it into a battle. I wasn't raised like that, the Holidays were always such a blessing for us.
Off to finish last night stuff. I'll post pictures in a bit.

Whitney, you said here exactly how I feel about the holidays. First of all, it's about Jesus and his birth and our salvation because of that night in Bethlehem. It's also about helping others because we are so blessed. I get VERY aggravated and ticked off when so many close to me forget that, and it's all about them and what they want for a gift. ugh!
You are so right and I hope that more and more people realize what this season is all about.
I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas.
hugs!
