Something in the air??

Hailey had a rough night as did Chris and I. Poor thing yelled for a couple of hours during the night and then again this morning. We weren't sure what was going on but it seemed as if she was in pain. She was pulling at her pj's so I changed her. Her bottom was red so I loaded up her with diaper cream and changed her diaper. She burped a few times so I guess gas drops work on older babies. She wasn't running a fever until she yelled for two hours and it was still very low. I finally gave in and gave her Motrin at 2:30 and put on Baby Einstein Lullaby video. Once it was over, I turned it off and she went to bed. She drank a little milk and a little water. I even tried to nurse her because something was apparently wrong. I had two clogged ducts yesterday so I know there is a little milk left over.
I spoke to a few friends today and it seems like a lot of little ones were restless last night. I pray that we all get some rest tonight.
She again woke in screams at 7:45 this morning. I couldn't calm her but she eventually took some milk and went back to sleep until screams again at 8:45. That was it, we were getting up and in the shower. That didn't make her happy but once she was clean, warm and dressed she was happy. She sat on the floor, drank her milk and watched Barney (sick I know!) for a good while. She was laughing, playing and talking to the video. What gives?
Ruby came late today, around 10, and the girls were both sleepy. They went down for a nap between 12-1230 and are just now stirring. I'm sure the afternoon will be full of snacks, playtime and hopefully lots of laughter. Scott (Ruby's dad) will arrive to pick her up around 6:30.
Chris is off today and is ready to get out of the house. Maybe we'll go a few places tonight if the weather clears. It's cold (48-50 on our temp. gauge), windy and wet right now.
