We arrived safely in Irving around 11:45 last night. Hailey only slept the first part of our trip, I got a ticket (going 51!) and Chris ended up driving. Luckily, we left close to schedule (6:45 instead of 6:30), stopped for pizza, gas and bathrooms a couple times AND got the ticket in McAlister and still made it before midnight. Friday flew by but we were busy bees.
Chris opened Friday morning, Hailey and I had showers before Ruby arrived at 9, my car was washed, diapers bought from Target and cabbage from Walmart all by 11:30. We were hightailing it. Hailey napped from 1030-1130, Ruby from 2-3, Chris arrived home by 4:30, we all had showers (except for Ruby) by 6:30, bags packed, dogs were put up, Scott picked up Ruby, mail set out, blinds closed, lights on, and cars loaded all by 630 again. Oh AND we cleaned the house and washed the sheets. THere is nothing worse than coming home to a dirty house with dirty sheets.
Upon arrival in IRving, we had a few snacks and wine (Lovely Hailey broke a glass) while visiting with Jim, Lynn and Mark. We were excited to see everyone! After Hailey couldn't hang on any longer, off to bed we went (maybe like 1:30?). Today (Saturday) started early with meeting a long time friend, Melissa, who bought our game tickets, Starbucks, breakfast, lunch, naps, play time, walks, lots of gold fish, apricots, pineapple, papaya, chicken sticks, cheese, etc. I could go on and on. We eat a lot while in town! :)
Everyone around here is getting in gear for the game and we're about to take Hailey to my cousin's house. Caroline is keeping Hailey for us and we're SOOOOO excited!!! Poppy (my dad) is going to stop by as well.
That is about it so far. I'll post a lot of pictures later but must throw on make up now.
