Fun (too much fun) weekend in Denton area

As you all know, we are on the go more than most. We always have something up our sleeve, fun plans and exciting news. Hailey and I arrived home on Wednesday night only to wash, clean and repack for the weekend. Ruby was here until 7:45 on Thursday and 6:30 on Friday so luckily Hailey had a playmate.
Friday night, we headed to Irving for the night. We pulled out of the driveway around 7:20, stopped at Sonic and then hit the road. I think it was right at midnight when we pulled in. We were there a few weeks ago but still had a lot of catching up to do but when the clock struck 2:30, I was turning into a pumpkin. Luckily, we all three slept until nearly 11 and rested much of the morning. I think we ALL needed it. I had been going to bed late (Chris was on a closing stretch) and getting up with the dogs a time or two and then up for the day with the sun. I was in need of rest!
Chris, Hailey and I headed to Grace and Scott's house in Cornith and stopped at Wing Stop for lunch in Flowermound. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE! It was probably the worst wings I've ever had. How can you mess up wings? seriously? We ordered the Cajun and parm garlic ones. The Cajun flavor was good but you could taste the freezer burn on them and the parm garlic ones just tasted like popcorn gone bad with the freezer burn. The fries were good so two large baskets, lots of ketchup and cheese sauce, we were full. I've always heard great things about wing stop but apparently this one needs some work.
We were excited to see Grace and Scott and their house is always decorated so nicely. I LOVE their fall decorations! We visited, watched football and Scott smoked a bunch of meat. We just forgot to eat on our to the Halloween party...BAD move!
It started getting late (8) so off to put on our pirate outfits. Hailey stayed with Grace and Scott (THANK YOU!!!). They turned out cuter than I thought for the price. Ch rs ended up wearing my wig because it was just too dark for me. When we arrived to Randy and Elizabeth's house, we knew we were in for a treat. Not only is their house beautiful, they went all out for Halloween. Black lights, decorations, McAlister's catering, full bar, on the lake, etc. I could go on and on! I tried a plum martini for my first time....different but good. We hadn't seen the Crawfords in a long time so it was really good to catch up and visit. We miss them!
Sunday started off bad (we remember why we don't drink much anymore!!) as we headed back to Tulsa. We're home and back to the rain (it ALWAYS rains!) and Chris just left for inventory. Hailey crashed out about 8 and I'm hoping she is down for the night. Her bad redness/burn is back in her diaper area (not bottom but think about it.. )and I have her coated right now. Poor thing, we can't kick this issue and it is EXTREMELY painful for her. I am going to make a dr appointment and see what is causing it. I am guessing it is her poop just burning her. I'll download the pictures as soon as I clean out the car.

You are a busy busy family! I wish I could go as much as you. I don't have the energy. I envy you!

I hope you can figure out Hailey's rash. I am sure that hurts bad.

Boyd is going to go to Glenview Baptist MDO. We'll just do one day a week at first, and then go to 2 days probably after the first of the year. I'm excited! I wish SEAS had the program, but they don't. We plan on putting him in private school there once he starts kindergarten.

Yall looked great in your costumes! I'm glad you had fun!
Is Hailey cutting teeth? Maddox's stool always gets really acidic when he's teething and it breaks out his bottom every time... or after eating lots of tomatoes or strawberries! (Just a thought!)

I too with SEAS had a MDO program! I just love that place!!
I'm plum wore out. We're here (as far as I know) until 11/7 so I'm going to REST.
Holly- she is getting another tooth on the bottom so it maybe that. Her bottom has been bad since switching to whole milk. I've had her on 2 % all weekend and it is gone. I'll gradually switch back and build up her tolerance. Her rash up top comes and goes. It is BLOOD RED and she screams when I wipe it or put it in water. It's luckily not like a yeast infection, more like a burn. She's lubed and didn't have much to eat today (or yesterday), just milk so maybe in the morning it will be better. She DID have rav/tom sauce on Friday at lunch...???
