The Bells visit Tulsa

We were lucky enough to have Chris's parents visit us this weekend and wish we had planned more Tulsa activities for them. Hailey sure enjoyed seeing them! She is old enough now where she is starting to remember each person and is more outgoing.

We woke Saturday to cantelop and banana bread instead of all the breakfast stuff we bought at the store. :) The banana bread is always great! For lunch we decided to try The Dutch Pantry in Chouteau since Chris and I had been really eager to try it. um....let's just say it wasn't what we expected. The food was good, fried chicken, BQQ, salad bar, veggies, and a dessert bar but maybe it was the astmosphere? I think we expected a nice, clean, well put together place and what we got was a dump. People from all over visit this place so we didn't turn around and leave. One salad plate, two meal plates and two dessert plates I couldn't complain. They do different meals each day and on Saturday it was BBQ and fried chicken (def. not babe's!). Hailey was CRANKY but that is expected since we woke her from a nap and her evil teeth are slowy coming in. Chouteau is in Amish Country so after lunch we stopped by the Amish Cheese House for a visit. If there is every anything you need, that place has it.

Once we were stuffed to our liking, we headed back to Tulsa. The afternoon was filled with seeing the hot spots and a little walk at Woodward Park. Oh and our afternoon trip to Sonic! Hailey loves Sonic already. We went by Swan Lake and only ONE swan was present. It is such a pretty area though. We didn't make Utica Square but I'm sure the guys would have been bored with the shopping.

After a quick stop at home for a bath (Hailey), dinner and pj's we headed to the patio at Fish Daddy's. Luckily it was 8:30 and Hailey's bedtime so she slept the ngiht away. I must say we enjoyed ourselves and loved that Hailey stayed alseep. I have finally gotten her on a routine and it's is really easy to schedule around it. i'm not sure what we are going to do once she is WAY too big for her infant seat. She is just a little too big now. :)

Back to the house and a little visiting. I climbed in bed with Hailey and was out once again. My poor body was still recovering from the busy Friday. It was a nice treat for us to sleep in a little on Sunday and then Mass at the Cathedral in downtown. Hailey has misbehaved in Mass since in my belly so we walked the halls. One day, I'll join one of the Churches so we can use the nursery.

Lunch was at McAlister's Deli and I gave into my craving of a Ruben. YUM! It was great but not as good at TCC (the best!!). Luckily Chris isn't a ruben fan or I would be as big as a house from making them all the time. Hailey once again slept during lunch (NICE!!). The rest of the afternoon was visiting, packing and playing.
