Teething or a Cold?

Hailey has had 101.5 fever for two days and you can tell by looking at her she doesn't feel good. When she cut her first two teeth, 101.5, runny nose and whiny. She was whiny last week, then the fever started, up from 2:30 until 5 am or so last night, clingy today, etc. It is all pointing towards teething and not to mention the DIAPERS! We've gone through a lot today. BUT...she looks like she doesn't feel well. When she cut her other two, she didn't look pitiful! You can see it in her eyes and she wants to rest her head on my chest and then there is the cough. It isn't much of a cough and mainly in the mornings or when she gets hot. The wind has been blowing the past few days so that could be allergies. What do you think? teething or a cold? I'm guessing she has a tooth coming through. There are one or two you can see under her gums but they've been there for a while.


Wee took it easy today so Hailey could rest. Right now she is in her crib sound asleep. We had to visit Walmart to some groceries around lunch time. There was nothing here for lunch so we visited a Chinese place. SICK, it wasn't good and I love some Chinese food. Walmart only had 6 lanes open in a Super Walmart. WTH? A little girl was talking and playing with Hailey. She gave Hailey this toy cell phone and I gave it back to her. The little girl continued to play and touched her face. I warned her that Hailey bites and sure enough, Hailey bit her finger! I'm not sure what is going on but this is the third time (once was Chris) that she chowed down on someone's finger. It only happens when they put their finger near her face. Maybe she just doesn't want it there or maybe we have a problem on our hands. She never does it to her friends or other little children, just bigger people.

Once home, Hailey rested on my chest while I watched a movie (Because I said so. Cute!). We also made some decorations for her little birthday party coming up. We'll use them to help hold down the table cloths, silver ware holders and maybe plant a flower.





Well, she just woke up and I put her in bed with me. She is out like a light on my chest already but hot as a fire cracker. Hopefully she will get some rest tonight.
