Hailey Grace learned to makes pies last night and today. She LOVES when I pull out the kitchen stuff and we make noises. When I say I pull it out, I really had to PULL it out of boxes. I had to open a few before I found what I wanted. Anyway, we made a lemon ice box ice. It was SO easy and I'm almost embarrassed to share how easy it was. Of course, she loved it! We also did a chocolate pie since I had all the stuff. Hailey preferred the Chocolate of course!
Lemon Ice Box Pie
Ingredients
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature
1 (14-ounce) can condensed milk
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoons lemon zest
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 prepared graham cracker crust
Directions
Combine the cream cheese, milk, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla in a large bowl. Mix on medium speed until smooth. Pour into the pie crust. Refrigerate overnight
We are entertaining the idea of cloth diapers.. nuts I know but the real diapers are leaving her chunky legs so red and raw. I recently bought huggies to see if they work better. I'm sure it doesn't hurt and well she has explosions often so I figure what's the difference? Don't worry, I'll always have REAL diapers on hand.
