Back at Work...

It's official, Chris has started his NEW JOB. He was very excited about it but I honestly think Hailey Grace and I were just as happy. :) Routines!! Jobs being cut every day and after looking for 5 months, he was offered a wonderful job. I spoke to my friend Loren tonight and a lot of her friends were laid off this afternoon at Dell in Austin. So sad!
Where did this weather come from? It is FREEZING! I haven't been outside all day. We miss the park, sunshine and warmth. We needed rain (my weeds needed it! ) but all the cold? Everyone is going to be sick again.
Mia came and stayed with us last night and kept Hailey while Chris and I went to Duke's for a while. We sat on the patio but could feel the front blowing in around 9.
I've gotten SO much accomplished tonight with cleaning out and going through stuff. I've got my Goodwill pile ready to go tomorrow and clothes I'm selling or giving away ready as well. I feels good to get rid of stuff I no longer use or want because someone else may love them!
Hailey hung on late tonight (1230am) because I wasn't really pushing the issue of sleep. Bad mom, I know but she was being so good and playing. She also give me a TWO HOUR NAP from 4-6:15 tonight (NEVER NEVER NEVER happens!) and then another one from 9:15-10. I should have kept her asleep at 10 but I was trying to get stuff done so I didn't push it.

We're already missing Chris. This will be the longest he has been away from Hailey. Hopefully I will be able to get her saying Dada (she has twice) and send him a video. I'm going to finish my bag of popcorn and hopefully hit the sack. The boys (dogs) are in their kennels and the house is quiet. NIGHT!
